well since the FZR has bin playing up i am thinking of part exchanging it, wat do ya think wud be a good bike to get

Mouse, fozzy is right mate, i cannot fault it at all, to be honest i have had a few cbr's great bike, but this bandit i have got knocks spots it (my opinion). It handles superb, goes like phook n does everything i want and expect, if there was anything i would improve it would be the brakes, perhaps just make them a lil sharper, don't get me wrong they work n stop me but i am a bit of a late braker so thats all i would improve. Mines only the 600cc but it pulls me fine mate (6ft2" and of large stature lol) comfy as my fave armchair and wicked on fuel!!! I would deffo think about another when changing this one and it would be the 1200cc this time, saying that though, i like fozzys hornet and would love a triumph like bry's (not the gay colour though lol). I'm really glad i went and looked at this one (the offer of money for the CBR plus the bike helped!!!) at the minute i am in no hurry to change it.

Early blackbirds are sensible money nowdays - couple of small tweaks and they are a great all round bike.

As always it depends what you want from a bike. Like the man says, though, Blackbirds are fantastic tools that will do anything you want them too - including a fair bit of scratchin'. I now prefer naked bikes because I'm quite attached to my licence and want to keep it that way. Ask Rob about the bandit 1200 - he used to have one.

1200 bandits are ace
I had a 97 model and did a fair bit to it, but eventually it handled really well and went like hot poop too.
Fork springs, rear shock, aftermarket can and dynojet kit and filter.. and away you go.
power up from 92 rwbhp to 114 (stock cans choke them to death)
Stacks of mods you can do aswell, brakes, motor, whatever
